Business + audience
Figure out what the business needs, and what its customers have to understand and trust before they reach out.
I design websites people actually understand, build them myself, and make sure every inquiry gets an answer.
More than ten years across brand, print, AR/VR and the web. Four years leading UI/UX at Acorn Stairlifts’ U.S. headquarters. Now running RizForge, where I take businesses from the first conversation to a live site with the CRM already working.

02 / HOW I WORK
Every project runs through the same five steps, and I’m there for all of them.
Figure out what the business needs, and what its customers have to understand and trust before they reach out.
Turn that into a sitemap, page structure and the paths people take to book, buy or ask for a quote.
Design a visual system that makes the business easy to read and hard to confuse with anyone else.
Build fast, accessible pages in Astro, Next.js or Webflow, with content that is easy to keep current.
Wire up the forms, CRM and follow-up emails so every inquiry lands somewhere and gets a reply.
03—06 / THE WORK
Newest first: my own studio, four years at an international company, the job where I learned the craft, and the internship where it started.
NOW / MY OWN STUDIO
Founder · UI/UX & Web Designer
I started RizForge so small and service businesses can work with one designer from start to finish: research, brand, UX/UI, development, launch, and the CRM that keeps leads from slipping away afterward.
CLIENT WORK / 01
Rebrand · Website · Estimate requests
A full rebrand and new website for an established flooring specialist. I started from the logo and built the site around what customers actually need: what each service involves, proof from real projects, and a quick way to ask for an estimate.

CLIENT WORK / 02 · PRE-LAUNCH
Storefront · Editable catalog · Protected downloads
A custom storefront for a digital-music artist. The front is bold and expressive; behind it, the artist can edit his own catalog, take payments and deliver files without touching code.
CLIENT WORK / 03
Brand presentation · Portfolio · Booking paths
A warm, portfolio-led site for a henna artist. Private appointments, bridal clients and events each get their own inquiry path, so every booking starts with the right questions instead of a generic contact form.

MY OWN PRODUCT
Internal app · Used every day
The app I built to run the studio: prospect research, outreach drafts, approvals and pipeline, all in one place. I use it daily and keep improving it as the studio grows.

Prospect names and contact details are blurred for privacy.
2021–2025 / LEADING UI/UX AT SCALE
Lead UI/UX Designer
I led UI/UX at the U.S. headquarters of an international stairlift company, first heading the design team and later working inside the merged design and marketing department. The big one was a website redesign that started in Germany and rolled out across the company’s markets.
THE 2022 REDESIGN
The old site carried years of useful product and service information, but competing menus, calls to action and dense sections made it hard to find a path through. The redesign started in Germany, where that problem was worst, and set a calmer, clearer direction the other markets then adopted.

I led the visual direction for the 2022 redesign, starting with the German site, which lagged far behind the other markets in usability, structure and consistency.
Once executives approved it, the direction was adapted for the UK, Italy, the U.S., Canada and smaller regional offices, keeping one brand while meeting each region’s needs.
I worked side by side with a UX designer and three developers on navigation, product education, consultation paths and a guided multi-step quote flow.
Ongoing design for Acorn Club, the app for existing customers. Campaign microsites built so far ahead of demand that marketing had a backlog. Websites for two sister companies, social graphics and an HR handbook redesign.
ON EVERY SCREEN
The same direction carried through to phones and the rest of the site: the hero, a simpler menu, and a quote form broken into four short steps.

BUILT AHEAD OF DEMAND
Two of the sites I designed outside the main redesign: a campaign microsite for marketing and a site for one of the leadership’s other companies.

Who did what. I led the visual direction, created many of the supporting assets, designed key pieces like the UK homepage hero, and worked closely on the interface system. A UX designer assembled much of the page-level experience and made strong layout and interaction calls; three developers built it.
2017–2021 / WHERE I LEARNED THE CRAFT
Multimedia Designer
Design InternGraphic DesignerMultimedia Designer
I started as a design intern at a technology company building training and interactive products for clients including Lockheed Martin and the U.S. Army, and was promoted twice. This is where the range came from: brand systems, print and trade-show work, AR/VR interfaces, video and motion, and my first real UX project.

A map pin, a heart and the letter V, combined into one mark and built out into a full identity. One of many logos and product brands I made there, alongside a company-wide rebrand with the art director that replaced a dated late-’90s look.

I traveled to Washington, D.C., with our video team to film a veterans’ remembrance trip in 360°. Back home, I led the experience design, turning about 20 hours of footage into chapters that veterans who couldn’t make the trip could explore in VR.
2015 / WHERE IT STARTED
Graphic Design Intern
My first design job: a college-credit internship with a small consultancy, sitting in on meetings with its partner businesses and turning their requests into finished flyers and marketing pieces.
A year after the internship, one of the partners needed a Toyota promotional mailer and asked for me. It was one of my first independent commercial projects, and an early lesson in putting information in the right order.

07 / WHAT I BRING
Hire me for the design and you also get someone who can build it and set up what happens after a customer reaches out. Here is what that covers.
Making it obvious what a business does and what a visitor should do next.
Picking the build that fits the content, the client and who has to maintain it.
Making sure every form, booking and purchase lands in the right place and gets a reply.
Logos, brand systems, print, motion and photography, for when the work goes beyond a web page.
